Open Calls

SSPH+ regularly launches calls for tasks and activities for which a national coordi­nation is necessary or where the critical mass at a single insti­tution is lacking. SSPH+ does not support or co-support activities supported by local universities, SNSF or other usual funders, but steps in for cross-institutional activities not supported by the latter.

  • Applications are now open for the SSPH+ Lugano Summer School (LSS) in Public Health Policy, Economics, and Management 2026 Scholarships Programme!

    To support the public health workforce in tackling today’s challenges, the Swiss Plexus Programme is offering online, hub, full onsite, and partial onsite scholarships to attend the SSPH+ LSS 2026, taking place 17–22 August in Lugano and online.

  • SSPH+ 2026 Call for Proposals – Inter-University Activities

    SSPH+ is pleased to launch the 2026 call for proposals to support inter-university activities led by network partners. The aim of this call is to strengthen exchange, collaboration, and the overall SSPH+ spirit.


    Proposals must be submitted by 30 April 2026.


    Funding decisions will be taken by the SSPH+ Directorate by 20 May 2026. A total of up to CHF 50,000 is reserved in the 2026 budget for these activities, with a maximum of CHF 25,000 per project. Funded activities must start no later than October 2026 and be completed by the end of 2026.
