SSPH+ Annual Meeting 2023

On 20-21 June 2023, the SSPH+ Annual Meeting convened at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) in Allschwil under the theme "Riding the Waves". More than 120 people attended the event. The Annual Meeting program included a mix of engaging sessions, such as the Inter-university Graduate Campus (IGC) students meeting and career event, discussions on the Swiss Cohort & Biobank, insights and lessons from the pandemic, and a session on the implications and potential for ChatGPT in public health. The 2 day program was followed by the "Nino Künzli Farewell Symposium" – organized by Swiss TPH - which focused on "Preparing PhD Students - Shaping Future Academic Leaders”. Specifically, this event featured insightful discussions on academic leadership in public health. Additionally, as every year, attendees enjoyed an apéro and dinner as part of the program. Moreover, for those who were interested, there was the opportunity to take part in a guided tour of the Swiss TPH building.
