SSPH+ Faculty members and Fellows

To identify and assemble the public health sciences faculty from the Swiss academic network, SSPH+ has created the title “SSPH+ Faculty member” and “SSPH+ Fellow”. The title “SSPH+ Faculty member” is granted ex officio to the professors, assistant professors and PD, as defined and granted by each of the partner universities, working in the field of public health regardless of their academic discipline. The title “SSPH+ Fellow” is granted ex officio to the SSPH+ Faculty members, to academic directors of the SSPH+ training programs (PhD, MAS, DAS, CAS, seasonal schools), to the president of Public Health Schweiz as well as to the cantonal physicians. Under the request of an SSPH+ Faculty member, the title “SSPH+ Fellow” can also be granted to experts active in the field of public health in relation with SSPH+ (see regulation here). See list of SSPH+ Faculty members here).

How to become an SSPH+ Faculty member or Fellow: an SSPH+ Faculty member (from your university) sends an email to recommending you as SSPH+ Faculty member or Fellow (e.g. by highlighting your research and teaching activities in public health, with your motivation (max. 100 words) and CV (SNSF format) included). Deadlines for applications are 31 March or 31 October! The SSPH+ Foundation Board will then take decision in its semi-annual meetings (May or December).
