The Swiss School of Public Health (SSPH+) assembles the inter-university faculty of public health sciences affiliated with fourteen Swiss univer­sities of the SSPH+ Foundation. SSPH+ is the national coordi­nating body for the promotion of postgraduate university education and research in the fields of public health.

"Protecting Science – Protecting Health" is the motto of the 2026 SSPH+ Annual Meeting, hosted by the University of Fribourg on June 23-24, 2026. This theme highlights the essential role of scientific integrity, collaboration, and transparency in safeguarding both public trust and population health. It invites us to reflect on how protecting the foundations of science ultimately protects the well-being of societies.

  • Call for Young Researcher Editorial (YRE) Editors – Apply Now!

    The Young Researcher Editorial (YRE) series of the International Journal of Public Health (IJPH) is inviting applications for new editors. This initiative, launched in 2018 as a joint project between SSPH+ and IJPH, empowers PhD students worldwide to contribute to public health discussions while gaining hands-on experience in academic publishing.


    This role offers valuable experience in writing, reviewing, and understanding the editorial process, along with access to a professional publishing platform. Participation is recognized with 1 ECTS credit (2 ECTS for Editor-in-Chief).


    Advanced PhD students (around 3rd year) from SSPH+-affiliated institutions with prior publication experience can apply.
