Internship "Health Systems Capacity, Global Access"
Access Accelerated is a partnership of +24 innovative pharmaceutical companies to strengthen health systems for access to non-communicable diseases (NCD) prevention, treatment and care.
Roche is playing a leadership role within AA, particularly vis-à-vis country implementation program design, oncology service delivery models and capacity building through the CCan program and other company PPPs, and health financing and access to innovation under the World Bank project.
The intern will work with the Program Lead, Access Accelerated (sHSSL) to build a clear metrics strategy building on the overall Roche AA Strategy.This will include among other tasks: (i) working with the Country Focus Model Community of Practice Program Lead to define how metrics can be systematically integrated into the Roche pilots, (ii) training needs at the country level and how these can be brought forward through training programs delivered by Boston University, (iii) work with the SHSSL to discuss with Boston University how Roche can improve its reporting into the program, (iv) define a clear plan with the sHSSL that can be delivered. The work will involve significant coordination and joint work with the Access Metrics Group and Group Communications around reporting to the Access to Medicines Index program.
