Fostering Research
The SSPH+ faculty and its multi-disciplinary research teams have a global presence with regards to public health sciences and are experts in their respective fields of research. Their research is not only frequently published and cited in the leading scientific journals, but also fosters public health discussions and debates and influences policy making. This was especially highlighted in 2022, following the pandemic, where the nation searched for answers from public health authorities and the SSPH+ network could offer its knowledge and expertise. SSPH+ especially continues to strengthen public health research in Switzerland with PhD tracks that support young scientists and their latest research developments in the field of public health.
