SSPH+/CSSS Public Health Program

From October-November 2023, the Public Health Program, a collaborative initiative between SSPH+ and the Swiss-Colombian Chamber of Commerce (CCCS), funded by CCCS, took place. This program aimed to provide valuable insights into the field of public health for audiences in Latin and South America. The objectives of the Public Health Program were twofold: firstly, to share information on international best practices in public health sciences and enhance current practices, and secondly, to foster mutual learning within the health sector among executives from Swiss companies, civil servants from various sectors, and strategic counterparts. The program was made up of 6 lectures that were held by SSPH+ Faculty members. The target audience for the program included CEOs, employees (particularly those in health, human resources, finance, and security roles), and civil servants within the public health sector, not only from Colombia but also from other countries across Latin and South America. The program anticipated the participation of 50-100 individuals, representing a diverse cross-section of stakeholders interested in advancing public health initiatives in the region.
