Award for Best Published PhD article
Each year, SSPH+ honors outstanding research by presenting the "Best Published PhD Article" award to a distinguished PhD student within its network. The SSPH+ Best Published PhD Article Award 2025 was awarded to Tom Forzy for his paper “Assessing the geographic and socioeconomic determinants of vaccine coverage in Ethiopia: A spatial and multistage analysis at the district level,” published in Vaccine in January 2025. The award ceremony took place during the SSPH+ Annual Meeting in Bern, hosted by the Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH) from 4–5 June 2025. Congratulations! Read his winning article here.
