Early Career Researcher Field Trip to Geneva

We are pleased to announce that four SSPH+ PhD students and postdocs have the opportunity to participate in this year's early career researcher field trip to international organizations in Geneva, organized by GLOHRA (German Alliance for Global Health Research).

  • Date: 27 September - 2 October 2026
  • Location: Geneva
  • Target audience: PhD students (2nd year or beyond) and postdocs (within 7 years of receiving PhD) with research interest in global health
  • Application is now here: link

This field trip connects the next generation of global health researchers with the World Health Organization (WHO) and other international agencies. Participants will gain firsthand insight into the research activities of international agencies and learn more about how research informs policy while building a professional network within the GLOHRA and SSPH+ communities. GLOHRA will cover all essential costs, including second-class return rail travel within Switzerland, local transport in Geneva, accommodation, and meals.

We encourage early career researchers with a focus on global health to apply. Eligible candidates include IGC PhD students (2nd year or later) and SSPH+ postdocs within seven years of completing their doctoral degree. Please complete the application form by 6 April 2026.
