Key numbers of SSPH+

As of 2022, the SSPH+ Foundation incorporates 12 Swiss universities, 15 honorary fellows, 20 institutes (with 2 or more faculty members) and more than 70 institutes have a single faculty member (see the SSPH+ expert database), 250 inter-university faculty members, 400 PhD students and 30 MAS/DAS/CAS programs led by SSPH+ faculty members. SSPH+ is coordinated by its Dean’s office – a lean administrative structure to orchestrate collaborations and activities and is funded by the 12 Foundation universities (core funding) and grants as well as donations (project funding).

The strategic focus of SSPH+ is rooted in three pillars of prime relevance for public health sciences:
