SSPH+ Post-Doc Group
SSPH+ embarked on an exciting initiative to enhance support for post-doctoral researchers within our network. Recognizing the invaluable contributions and unique needs of post-docs, SSPH+ initiated the development of an “SSPH+ Post-Doc Group”. The objectives of this initiative include; strengthening the post-doc community by fostering collaboration, providing tailored training opportunities, and facilitating networking within and beyond our network. With the aim of offering resources relevant to post-docs' professional development and research endeavours, this group promises to be a vital asset in nurturing the next generation of public health leaders. Under the lead of SSPH+ Project Manager, Emily Reeves, a team of five post-doctoral students from different universities within the SSPH+ network (namely; Fleur Hierink (University of Geneva), Muaamar Al Gobari (University of Lausanne), Peter Raguindin (University of Lucerne), Flaka Siqeca (University of Basel), Andrea Aegerter (Zürich University of Applied Sciences ZHAW) and Viktoria Gastens (University of Fribourg)) have been tasked with spearheading the growth and development of this group.
Fostering the SSPH+ Post-Doc Group hopes to support the career advancement and success of early-career researchers within our community.
